As I began my intensive PTSD therapy sessions with my therapist, I had wondered whether it’ll work due to the depths of my struggle. I am very appreciative of the therapy I’ve received and feel that it has really helped me to get some clarity back in to my life. I believe this is very much done to my therapist, who was a good listener, didn’t judge me in anyway and is a credit to the profession. She also gave me information to read and hopefully this will keep me in the right frame of mind from now on.

I’ve learnt great techniques about why my negative thoughts and feelings occur (the core belief), what triggers them (activation of the bottom line) and how to change them. I’m confident that with these techniques, along with advice on other pain points for me (procrastination, unhelpful thinking styles), will change my outlook on life. I’m excited for the next chapter, to make it a much more fulfilling one.

I was first given a different therapist and after a few sessions, I was assigned the therapist I finished my treatment with. I could tell the difference between the treatment styles between the two, and the therapist I finished the course with was amazing. She really helped understand why I even was going through what I was and helped me get through the difficulties I was going through before I started out with the therapy.
